Mallie’s Sports Bar & Grill is a restaurant in America that serves the world’s largest hamburger. For only $2000, you can order the “Absolutely Ridiculous Burger”. Customers must order the hamburger at least 72 hours before they come to eat it. The ingredients include 7 kilograms of lettuce, 5 kilograms of onions, 12 kilograms of bacon, and 16 kilograms of cheese. The restaurant spends 22 hours cooking the hamburger. After that, it must sit in a freezer for eight hours to cool off. The hamburger bun takes four hours to bake in an oven. It weighs about 38 kilograms.
The “Absolutely Ridiculous Burger” entered the Guinness World Record book in 2011 as the world’s largest hamburger. Before that, a Thai restaurant held the record for the world’s largest burger. It weighed 35 kilograms. The owner of Mallie’s Sports Bar & Grill says that no one has ever eaten an entire “Absolutely Ridiculous Burger”. That’s probably a good thing!
