Haruki Murakami is a famous Japanese writer. He has written many bestselling books. These books have sold millions of copies all over the world. He was born in Japan in 1949, and he used to run a jazz club. Some of his most famous books are A Wild Sheep Chase, Norwegian Wood, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, Kafka on the Shore, and more recently 1Q84. He has been described as one of the best modern writers, and if you haven’t read any of his books, you really should. He has won many awards for his novels, and many people around the world love his books.

His hobbies are listening to jazz, running, and watching movies. He said that when he is running, he prefers to listen to rock music though.
