Disney’s Frozen


Frozen is an American animated fantasy movie. It was made by Walt Disney Studios and released on November 27, 2013. The story is similar to a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale called The Snow Queen. One of the main characters in the movie is Anna. She is the princess of a place called Arendelle. The story is about Anna’s journey to find her sister called Elsa. Elsa has special powers, and she can make ice, snow, and frost whenever she wants to. Elsa has trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in a never-ending winter. Anna goes on a journey to find Elsa with a mountain man called Kristoff, his pet reindeer Sven, and a funny snowman called Olaf.


The movie was very popular around the world. It made a lot of money. In total it made $1.3 billion just from people watching it at the movie theatre. In America and Canada it made $400 million, and in Japan it earned about $250 million. The music from Frozen was also a big success. The most popular song was Let It Go. This song was written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The song used in the movie was performed by Idina Menzel, but a slightly different pop version was used at the end of the movie. The pop star Demi Lovato sang this version.
